As a part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations, we are proud to organise a Summer Cricket Coaching Camp for kids aged 7-14 years at East Manchester Academy (Indoors) and Alexandra Park Cricket Ground (Outdoors) on 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th of August between 10am to 4pm.
The aim of this coaching camp is to identify young cricketing talent in our community, teach them basic techniques and provide skill development programmes. We aim to provide ongoing training and regular coaching to sharpen their skills and enable them to reach county and national level. This event is supported by English Cricket Board, Lancashire Cricket Board, Coaches Association, Neighbourhood Sports Fund and British Malayali online portal and guided by Manchester City Council Sports development officers.
Admissions are limited to 35 children. All sessions are run by ECB qualified and UKCCA coaches. Sessions include, Pace Bowling, Spin Bowling, Batting techniques, Fielding , LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development), Nutrition, Cricketing games and group matches. Senior coaches, ECB & LCB officials, Local leaders and Elite players are visiting us during the course of the coaching.
Age limit: 7-14 years (Both boys & girls) Fees: £50 for all 4 days, £35 for 2days. Fees includes lunch, Certificate / of participation / medals, Junior team membership and event T-shirt*.
