All Stars Cricket 2020
Thank you for expressing your interest in the next season of All Stars Cricket. This is a new programme which is a key priority within Cricket Unleashed – the ECB’s new national framework to broaden interest in cricket at every level.
We’re excited by this programme’s potential and we think you will be too. All Stars Cricket will play a key role in our plans to attract even more young people to cricket, giving the next generation of youngsters a great first experience at their clubs for both them and their parents
Aimed at the five to eight-year old age-range, All Stars Cricket will instil children with a lifelong love of not just cricket – but all forms of physical activity. Above all, we want them to stay in cricket for the long-term-whether that’s as players, volunteers, officials or spectators.
All Stars Cricket will give children opportunities to develop 9 of the 10 key fundamental movement skills in a safe, fun environment. As a dynamic, engaging programme, All Stars Cricket has a broad appeal to children and their parents.
The next edition of All Stars Cricket will be run on the following dates:
Dates: 8 sessions starting from 06th June 2020 on every Saturday
These sessions will be for one hour each and will run at Alexandra Park, on Saturdays, 10:15 am to 11:00 am.
All Stars Cricket is the England and Wales Cricket Board’s entry level participation programme, aimed at providing children aged five to eight years with a great first experience in cricket. This will be the fourth consecutive year Friends Sporting Club is organising All Stars Cricket training programme at Alexandra Park.
Programme features:

Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies including a cricket bat, ball, activity book, personalised shirt and cap all sent straight to your door. Scroll down to take a look at the kit!

By registering for All Stars Cricket, your child will be guaranteed eight weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is suitable for all children new to cricket and sport as the sessions are designed to teach the basic skills of the game. Every child will earn stars as the weeks progress that match the skills learned during the programme:
• Batting – hitting a moving ball
• Throwing – underarm and overarm
• Catching – small and large balls
• Bowling – overarm
• Running – lots of movement
• Teamwork – fun games with friends
• Communication – the basics of cricket
• Spirit of Cricket – how to respect others
Every child that registers for the All Stars Cricket programme will receive a bonus participant pack, including:
